Meet Allan, the face behind Alpine Furniture. We’re a small, family-run furniture business in the heart of the Hope Valley. For more than 30 years, we’ve been turning individual ideas into handmade pieces.

Our cabinet makers create furniture to your design, size and finish. A sloping ceiling, an old cottage beam or an unusual corner becomes part of the design.

Can I personalise a children’s toy box?

Yes. Choose a name and design, explore painted colours or a natural wood finish, and add an optional message under the lid. We offer different sizes and can discuss bespoke dimensions. Visit our toy-box website for the range, or ask us about your idea and current lead times.

Can you make furniture for an awkward space?

Yes. We specialise in fitted furniture made to individual spaces, including sloping ceilings, alcoves, under-eaves storage and rooms with exposed beams. Take a look at the gallery for examples.

Can I choose the size, design and finish?

Yes. Our pieces are made individually to your design, size and finish. Bring along your ideas or show us a project you like so we can discuss the possibilities.

Do you make freestanding furniture too?

Yes. Alongside kitchens and fitted wardrobes, we make freestanding furniture, tables, desks, storage and personalised toy boxes.

How much will my furniture cost?

Every project is different. Contact us with the type of furniture you need, approximate dimensions and any finish ideas so we can discuss your requirements and a price.

How long will it take?

Timing depends on the project and our current workshop schedule. Please contact us for current lead times and let us know if you have a date in mind.

Can I visit the workshop and showroom?

You’ll find us at Aston Industrial Estate, Parsons Lane, Hope, Hope Valley, S33 6RB. Please call before travelling to confirm opening times and arrange a suitable visit.
